The WRYW February newsletter is here as our tech love letter to you. We’ve got some not so sexy (by necessary) tax tips for 2014 as well as some video love letter tips and a playlist packed with lovey dovey songs to get you in the “Be Mine” mood.
2014 Tax Tips
It’s that time of year again, tax season. Don’t stress out yet though, we’ve got some great resources I’d like to share to make your taxes a little easier. Take a look at our TurboTax Vs. H&R Block Vs. TaxAct Vs. TaxCut article to help you choose the right tax software for you. We’ve also got individual reviews if you wanna dig in.
Video Love Letters & Virtual Meetings
Trying to think of a way to spend Valentine’s Day with your sweetie, but you’re in a long distance relationship? Check out our GoToMeeting Vs WebEx Vs Join.Me Vs TeamViewer Vs Google Plus article so you can find the best way to video chat with your loved one from afar. I suggest Google Plus! It’s free and all you need is a Gmail account. If you have any questions about getting started just comment on our article and I’ll help you out with the video, but maybe not with the relationship advice!
Lovey Dovey Songs and Playlists
I’m also excited to tell you that we are going to start sharing monthly Spotify playlists with you all. Each playlist will be themed for the month. And we hope you enjoy the first one for February: Lovey Dovey.
News That Rocked The Web In January 2014
From Social Media Manager, Anthony Guevara
The new year starts with sensational news for the tech world from CES2014. From LG’s G Flex (first curved phone with a flexible display) to Samsung’s NotePro and TabPro tablets (new, larger 12.2-inch display). Not to mention Apple is set to release two larger iPhones with displays larger than 4.5 inches & larger than 5 inches later this year and a possible new MacBook version (rumors it will be solar-powered and a two-sided display). And to top it all, Pope Francis declared the Internet “a gift from God.” And, of course, more NSA spying this time it’s Angry Birds (yes, the game app is collecting personal data).
