What Do FreshBooks Users Have to Say?

Positive FreshBooks Reviews

Freshbooks is so easy to setup & use. Plus switching over from the third party merchant account / credit card processing through our bank, which had an endless variety of monthly fees, is saving use more than what we pay for Freshbooks. They are constantly adding new features, bells and whistles and monthly fee stays the same. — Mark S., G2Crowd 4/21/2016

I find Freshbooks to be an excellent tool for my company. Great features that let me know when invoices have been viewed by the client and very prompt friendly support with a nice personal touch. — John, TrustPilot, 12/5/2015

Negative FreshBooks Reviews

The set-up did not work for me since it limited the number of clients of my chosen plan. When I wanted to get more information and help about this problem you [Freshbooks] never responded to my e-mail. I also asked for a refund and cancelled my account . Again no response. — Heidi H., TrustPilot 11/13/2015

Freshbooks shouldn’t even call themselves accounting, because their forte really is in time tracking and invoicing. I now use Freeagent and wish I’d switched sooner. If you don’t care about tracking profit margins on projects or really tracking expenses accurately at all, then Freshbooks might work for you. — Steve S., G2Crowd 2/24/2015

I have been doing my own small business accounting for several years now and was going to make the jump to Freshbooks after hearing so many great things about it but I tested it out but personally didn’t really see the value in it. It’s definitely easier to convert an estimate into an invoice and sends reminders for you which is nice but I think there’s something nice about sending reminders personally (versus having them be automated) at least in my line of work. I could see this being super useful and a time saver for companies or businesses where there is high volume in number of customers to help automate the invoicing and expenses process. But for me, doing it the old fashion way has worked for me for the time being.
