Choosing a winner for this article was difficult. Not only is there very little customer feedback but ultimately, these services do the exact same thing. The biggest difference was pricing and we didn’t feel we could recommend one esignature software product over the others completely. So instead, we’ve recommended products for certain situations. Adobe Sign (formally EchoSign) provides e-signatures from Adobe Document Cloud. The signed documents are legally binding and secure. You can upload documents to Adobe Sign from, Dropbox, Google Drive or Box. It is easy to use, there are plenty of features and Adobe has great support options.

RightSignature is from Citrix, the maker of GoToMeeting. RightSignature has a great reputation although consumers use competitors’ software more. RightSignature is missing SharePoint integrations but is reasonably priced. So if you don’t need that integration Right Signature may be a good solution for you.

What are Your Opinions?

In 1999, the government passed the ESIGN Act and UETA laws which required electronic signatures be accepted. It took some work to get the apps and e-signature software where they are today but now they are simple to use and more time efficient. As we mentioned above, finding information that distinguished these esign software apart from one another was a difficult task. Have you tried PandaDoc? If so, how does it compare with these contenders?


If I’m not mistaken, SignNow now costs just $5/mo for a single team, not $5/user/month.


I recently tried a trial of Echosign (by Adobe). The trial was great, but problem is they show you the enterprise version with all the features you’ll never afford as a small business owner. Then when you actually sign up for a plan, they gut it out and you only get a really handicapped version of it. I’m now moving over to SignNow. It’s not quite as smooth to use as EchoSign, and doesn’t have as many form options such as formatting the text of input boxes but it meets our needs for only $5/month.


I think CudaSign is now called SignNow. They’ve also changed their pricing. Does this change your analysis? Is there a way for you to update this article?

I think Echosign has changed its pricing. I see at that the personal plan is $10, which actually makes it one of the cheapest of the plans!


Docusign Personal is also $10/month. They also have zipform integration for real estate agents, which is awesome.
